Walk Buddy
An iOS app for finding nearby people to walk with, with live location on MapKit, walk requests, chat, and Firebase authentication.
Built in SwiftUI with an MVVM structure and separate view models for authentication, location, chat and walk requests. MapKit shows nearby users as live annotations, updated by a Firestore snapshot listener. Chat messages live in per-conversation Firestore subcollections, and a walk request moves through pending, accepted and declined states. Firebase Auth handles sign-up and login.
